Wadu Jao Beach in Dompu Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province
Located near to Sumbawa Regency, Wadu Jao Beach becomes a good alternative to spend a vacation with families. The exact location is in Jambu Village and it belongs in Pajo Sub-District. In terms of name, “Wadu” means stones while “Jao” means green. As the name suggests, the beach’s prime feature is the presence of big green stones and cliff. Fortunately, the distance is only 200 meters.
People often come to Wadu Jao Beach in order to play on the shoreline, as well. They conduct beach walking, building a sand castle, and beach sports. The thing is the texture is not quite soft, so tourists must wear comfy footwear while doing those activities. The only disappointment is tourists are not allowed to get in the water or swim in the sea. It is because the waves are too strong! Thus, parents who come with their kids should supervise the children carefully.
Another good thing that tourists can find in Wadu Jao Beach is the relaxation spot or gazebos. Everyone can use this freely, in fact. How to Get There
For those coming from Jakarta City, tourists can take advantage of an airplane service at Soekarno – Hatta International Airport and head directly to Sultan Muhammad Kaharuddin III Airport in Sumbawa Regency. Once they arrive at Sumbawa Besar City, they should take Diponegoro Street and visit Wadu Jao Beach right away. The distance is 206 km, so the trip may take around 4 hours and 36 minutes.
