Balad Beach in West Sumbawa Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province
When it comes to holidays, most people may choose beaches as their destination. They want to enjoy several activities like water sports, beach walking, photography, and relaxation, after all. The question is the place where they should visit. Have no worries. It is because Sumbawa Regency offers many choices including the one called Balad Beach. It resides in Telaga Bertong Village and belongs to Taliwang Sub-District. The good thing is tourists can easily find the site, as the beach is quite popular among the locals. Tourists only need to ask the villagers regarding the location, later.
In terms of popularity, Balad Beach is similar to Poto Batu Beach. One thing that makes it different is the location, which is near to the downtown. Well, the accessibility is one thing. But the beach also offers other allures. For instance, tourists can find several seafood eateries in that area. Next, the shoreline features lots of stones that become the natural border. No wonder, the waves become weaker once they reach the shoreline. What is more? On the coastline, tourists may see several local fishermen’s boats as well.
Exploring Balad Beach
The first recommended thing to do in Balad Beach is photography. The reason is the beach offers many interesting objects to capture, including the sea scenery and parked local fisherman’s boats. The length of shoreline is not quite long, so tourists can easily explore the beach and collect those photos. For those who don’t carry a camera, though, they can conduct beach walking instead. The beach has two different shoreline landscapes, actually. The first one is the soft-textured shoreline while another features lots of stones.
Here is the tip. The best time to visit Balad Beach is during weekends. It is because the nuance becomes merrier at the time. The fact is the beach becomes a favorite place to play beach soccer. Tourists can even join this fun activity as long as they get the permission from the locals. As an alternative, they should carry a ball and play either with friends or families. The only consideration is related to the time. It is recommended to conduct soccer beach only during the low tide, for the best comfort.
The next allure in Balad Beach is the presence of lush mangroves and trees, which are located in the back of the shoreline. This exotic and comfy landscape, thus, helps visitors to relax and get rid of stresses during the exploration. For the best atmosphere, they must visit the beach early in the morning when the air is the freshest!
